Pre-K / k
Welcome to our introductory level where our youngest enthusiasts embark on their lacrosse journey! We create a fun, lesson-based environment, where foundational skills are built with joy and engagement.
In this level, players are introduced to:
- Basic Skills Development: Enhancing catching, throwing, and cradling abilities.
- Experiential Learning: Encouraging discovery and understanding of the game’s play through hands-on experiences.
- Introductory Games: Offering a mix of games to familiarize players with competition, understanding rules, and attentive listening to coaches, all in a friendly environment without pads, checking, or body contact.
Eligibility
Boys and girls enrolled in Pre-K or K during the season with a minimum age of 4 years old.
Practice Schedule
Practices will be held over 6 consecutive weekends starting in April. Practices run for 1-hour and are a mix of skills training and games. Specific days/times will vary based on coach availability each season.
Uniforms
No uniforms are required.
Required Equipment
All players receive a stick as part of the registration fee and will be given out during the first clinic. No additional equipment is required.
